"After getting laid off from my day job in 2008, I began my journey as a creative. I'm grateful for that turning point."
I spent 15 years in Pittsburgh as both an artist and an art instructor before moving to Nashville in 2013. These days, I'm a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society. Formerly I was a part of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society and the Pittsburgh Society of Artists.
Over the years, I've held independent art workshops and taught watercolor at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and the Community College of Allegheny County from 2009 to 2014. Since moving to Nashville, I've thrown myself into songwriting and music. But lately, I've found my way back to art, just for the fun of it!
My Philosophy
For me, art is all about telling a story. I aim to create pieces that stir emotions, fit beautifully into their surroundings, and tell the story of the art's future owners, as well as my own!
